'Yellow Flowers on Green Grass' sets box office record

The movie’s producers hope that sales will reach 4 million USD to become the second highest grossing movie in Vietnam, after De Mai Tinh 2 (Fool for love 2), with 4.7 million USD. “Yellow Flowers on Green Grass” will premier in the US on November 8th  in Los Angeles.

The movie has become a sensation in Vietnam despite not featuring a major star or suspenseful plot. Instead, simple yet beautiful directing and a winning performance by its junior cast combine to win the hearts of audiences.a
